Immigration in Jamaica
We recommend you complete your immigration forms online, so there is no need to do the paper version that is handled out on flights prior to landing. You can do this at www.enterjamaica.com You will need the Name and address of the hotel to put on the form
Club Mobay VIP arrival airport services: if you booked this optional extra, you should already have your letter with instructions. You will be met after disembarking by an agent holding a name sign and whisked through immigration & customs via the Fast Track lines. You can then enjoy a snack & drinks in the arrivals lounge, until the shuttle bus is ready for departure.
Customs in Jamaica:
Please go to the very far end of the hall and exit through the GREEN lines (nothing to declare). If asked if your bicycle tires are new, please tell them yes (please wash them if they are not, so they look new!). There is an antiquated law that all used tires need to be sprayed with insecticide by the local agricultural department.. This could hold you up for hours.
AIRPORT SHUTTLE TO OUR RESORT
After you exit Customs go to Desk 8, Holiday Services:
Holiday Services is our transportation agent, for your shuttle transfer to the hotel which is included in your package. If you prefer not to wait on the shuttle transfer (it can be a wait of 5-45 minutes), you can prebook an upgrade to private car in WeTravel under “Optional Extras”
Driving time : 75-90 minutes depending time of day and traffic.
Don’t worry if you have a flight delay, our airport team automatically monitor all flights and adjusts accordingly. They will be waiting for you at Desk 8.
Cycle Jamaica Regristration and Hospitality Suite
Registration, Prepaid bike set up, Bicycle rental fitting and Pickup
Thursday : 10:00am-5:30pm & 7:30pm-8:30pm
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 11am-1pm and 3-5pm
Bicycle Yaad – our mechanic providers- provide mechanical services if needed, for a nominal fee. They provide bicycle pumps before each ride at 5am. Our guides will pump your wheels for you, free of charge at that time.
One Love Cycling has a limited amount of cycling clothing available for sale at registration
WELCOME INFORMATION MEETING
6:00pm We start on time. Informative but short talk about the ride and answering of any questions. Have a welcome drink and get to greet with teammates and make new friends.

05:00 - Breakfast
05:45 - Put cycling shoes & helmet on and “day bag” on your sag bus.
06:00 - Armband checks. Ride out
DAY BAG? This is a bag where you put personal items and put in the sag bus that cannot fit in your jersey pockets. So you might want to bring suntan lotion. A spare tire. Change of clothes if you may want to ride the bus for a while. You can keep your money on you in your jersey pocket and credit cards. But anything else you can put on the bus.
REST STOPS: are fully stocked with Gatorade, water, snack bars, sandwiches, and fruits etc.

Make it an early night – tomorrow is quite challenging!

- 05Departures
Shuttle times are preassigned and will be posted in the WhatsApp group.
You are required to check in 3 hours prior to your flight : these are the rules of MBJ Airport. We also allot time for any road delays that could occur (flat tyre, or road block etc) So anticipate a departure pick up that is about 5 hours prior to your flight departure time as a rough guideline. The precise times are posted the evening prior.
Driving time to Montego Bay airport
75-90 minutes
Remember that it takes time to load the buses especially with loading so many bike cases, so please be EARLY.
If you are late, you will be obliged to take a taxi at your expense.
We will NOT hold the bus for you as there are other participants who need to catch their flights.
There is an option to book a Private transfer, if you wish, but its bookable ONLY in advance,under optional extras on wetravel.
