PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT, LIABILITY & CANCELLATION POLICY

One Love Multisports Jamaica Limited – Participant Agreement Summary

Our cycling vacations (Cycle Jamaica • Cycle Punta Cana • Cycle Caribbean) are active outdoor experiences that require good health, personal responsibility, and flexibility. This summary highlights the most important terms. The full Participant Agreement governs all bookings.

Safety & Participation

Cycling involves risks such as traffic, road surfaces, animals, weather, heat, and mechanical issues. Guests must be in suitable health, follow guide instructions, wear a helmet, and ride cautiously. Unsafe behavior may result in removal without refund.

Bicycles & Equipment

Guests are fully responsible for their bicycles and equipment at all times. The Organizer is not liable for scratches, damage, mechanical issues, theft, loss, or problems arising from transport, loading/unloading, storage, hotel handling, bike fitting, or mechanical assistance. High-value bikes should be insured separately.

Medical Insurance Requirements

All guests must carry international medical insurance with emergency treatment, international air ambulance evacuation, medical repatriation, and 24/7 emergency assistance. Hospitals may require a credit-card deposit for admission. All medical expenses are the guest’s responsibility.

Trip Cancellation requirements

Every travel insurance should offer a trip cancellation as well as the medical coverage but for some it's an option to add trip cancellation. Please don't do that. We STRONGLY recommend you pay the small extra so that the amount you pay is covered should there be a cancellation.  If you fail to buy insurance you are fully responsible for the consequences thereof.

Weather & Conditions

Trips may involve heat, humidity, rain, wind, and rapidly changing tropical conditions. Events proceed as long as conditions are considered safe. Weather discomfort is not grounds for refunds.

Itinerary & Hotel Changes

Hotels, room categories, routes, start points, guides, and transport may change when necessary. These changes do not qualify for refunds. Declining substitutions is treated as a guest cancellation.

Travel Documents

Guests are responsible for passports, visas, health documents, and any required entry authorizations. Missing documents do not qualify for refunds.

Cancellation Terms

93+ days before arrival: US$299 deposit is non-refundable

92–63 days: US$499 penalty

62–49 days: US$699 penalty

32–48 days: US$899 penalty

31 days or less: No refund

All payments, deposits, credits, and postponements are non-transferable for any reason. Travel insurance with trip cancellation coverage is strongly recommended. If the event is postponed due to weather, hotel closure, or force majeure, this is not a cancellation. Declining new dates is treated as a participant cancellation, and penalties apply.

Force Majeure

No refunds apply for delays or interruptions caused by storms, hurricanes, hotel closures, safety issues, or events beyond the Organizer’s control. Postponement or credits may be offered at the Organizer’s discretion.

Media Use

Guests agree that photos or video taken during the event may be used for legitimate promotional purposes without compensation.

Legal

All bookings are governed by Jamaican law and resolved through binding arbitration in Jamaica.

Full Agreement

This is a summary. Guests must read and sign the full Participant Agreement and Liability Release before joining any event.
